Chairman & President
President of the Agri-Food Center of Bologna (CAAB), Marco Marcatili is an economist with consolidated experience in the direction and management of territorial development, urban regeneration and environmental enhancement processes. He is currently Head of Development and Sustainability of Nomisma and Director of the Italian Environment Fund – FAI.

General Director of CAAB and General Secretary of FICO Foundation, Alessandro Bonfiglioli is a trained chartered accountant and auditor. He holds professional experience with Castelli Group as President and CEO; Haworth as the Managing Director; CFO Europe, General Manager and CEO Alessi Group in Italy; CEO and Vice President of other foreign subsidiaries. With a degree in Economics (with honors), Bonfiglioli also holds an MBA from the University of Bologna and specialized courses from CIDE Geneva and Harvard Business School. Since 2009, Bonfiglioli is a professor of Industrial Design and Branding at Bologna Business School and the Director of Career Development.

Specialist in the agricultural and agri-food sector with a PhD in Plant Pathology, Duccio Caccioni is a specialist in post-harvest and storage of agricultural products, marketing and agri-food distribution. He has carried out missions with UN international agencies and is a specialized journalist, professor of agri-food marketing (University of Bologna) and abroad and an author of research papers and books. Caccioni has also carried out voluntary activities (agricultural and logistics sector) in African and South American countries. Since 2010 a member of the board of directors of Action Aid International.

Marco Ciani began his career in multinational companies operations and gained experience in lean manufacturing and lean office projects.Now, he works as an Organizational Consultant and Project Manager in projects related to workflow automation, business intelligence, lean office, lean production, ERP systems and innovative solutions. His consulting expertise includes both the manufacturing industry(automotive, machinery, food, plastic, furniture,cosmetics, mechanical processing) and in services. Ciani was the Project Manager of theNew Market in Bologna and has a deep knowledge of the most important ItalianMarkets (in Bologna, Parma, Milan and Turin) in terms of vehicular flows and internal logistics.

A graduate of the Master in Urban and Local Development Management from the University of Padua, Reihaneh Eshraghi also holds a Master in Global MBA in Green Energy and Sustainable Business from BolognaBusiness School. She has extensive experience working in multicultural environments in the Middle East and Europe. She is currently supporting CAAB SpA’sInternational Advisory Department in the development of international business projects with a special focus on the MiddleEastern and Asian markets.
